IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 14, 2017 -- Kia Motors America's (KMA) all-new 2018 Stinger has been named to Wards 10 Best Engines list. The performance-oriented GT trim's 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 was selected among a field of 32 powertrains for its exceptional power delivery, responsiveness and refinement. The list focuses on engines that are new to the market or have been significantly improved over the previous year. WardsAuto editors conduct evaluations based on several criteria, including horsepower, torque, technology, observed fuel economy, relative competitiveness and noise characteristics. This is the 24th year for the competition.

Georgia SoftWorks (GSW) successfully tested their Telnet Server for Windows and SSH Server for Windows on Handheld’s Nautiz X2; the most compact and comfortable rugged handheld available.
“Our certification testing consisted of setting up a telnet connection to the GSW UTS Server and running a test application over a period of time to establish confidence that the connections remained stable. Georgia Power assists AT&T with Project AirGig Trials to Bring Ultra-Fast Internet Over Power Lines Closer to Reality

ATLANTA, Dec. 13, 2017 -- Georgia Power announced today that it is working with AT&T for a Georgia-based trial of AT&T's unique Project AirGig technology. AirGig is a first-of-its-kind system that could one day deliver internet speeds well over 1 gigabit per second via a millimeter wave (mmWave) signal guided by power lines. AT&T hopes that one day there will be no need to build new towers or bury new cables in locations close to aerial power lines. Instead, using AirGig patented technology, AT&T and local utilities like Georgia Power would install devices to provide high speed broadband which can be clamped on by trained electrical workers in just a few minutes.
As the trial involves new equipment installed on Georgia Power poles, the company is working closely with AT&T to ensure there are no negative impacts to reliability or electrical service for 2.5 million customers across the state.
